Who We Are

Mariners and Allied Professionals Union

The Mariners and Allied Professionals Union (MAPU) is a registered workers’ organization established to represent and serve professionals working within the maritime, transport, logistics, fisheries, offshore, marine engineering, and related sectors.
MAPU was founded to provide a unified platform through which maritime professionals can collectively address industry challenges, advocate for decent working conditions, access professional development opportunities, and contribute to national development.
The Union serves as a bridge between workers, employers, Government institutions, development agencies, and international maritime stakeholders.
